#SaveEnergyLA
When the City of Angels faced blackouts, we worked with the Mayor to put our energy into saving it.
In the summer of 2016, LA’s resources were stretched, and the city was facing blackouts. So we put our energy, into saving it.
Working with Mayor Garcetti, we created a campaign encouraging Angelenos to take some simple actions to save energy; starting with switching off unnecessary lights. We lead by example, switching off the lights at iconic LA icons, like the Venice Sign, the pylons at LAX, and the Staples Center. To launch the campaign, we switched off the Urban Light exhibit at LACMA and created a glow in the dark tape mural to get our point across. Our message was spread through bus shelters and billboards, a children's book, and even a bag and LED lightbulb box, delivered to every household in Los Angeles.
